ReMind is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your reminders, routines, and personal data should remain exactly that—personal.

Data Collection

We collect zero data. ReMind does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information or usage data. Period.

What We Don't Collect:

No personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
No reminder times or notification messages
No usage analytics or statistics
No device information or identifiers
No location data
No crash reports or diagnostics
No advertising identifiers
No cookies or tracking technologies

How Your Data is Stored

All data created in ReMind is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure UserDefaults system. This includes:

Your reminder times
Custom notification messages
App settings and preferences
Background images and colors

This data never leaves your device and is only accessible by the ReMind app on your device.

Third-Party Services

ReMind does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external APIs. The app is completely self-contained.

Notifications

ReMind uses iOS's local notification system to deliver reminders. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any external servers or services. You can manage notification permissions through iOS Settings at any time.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it benefits from iOS's built-in security features, including device encryption and secure storage. We recommend:

Keeping your device updated with the latest iOS version
Using a strong device passcode or biometric authentication
Enabling device encryption (enabled by default on modern iOS devices)

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

Delete individual reminders by swiping left on any timer card
All data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app
No data remains on any external servers (because we don't use any)

Children's Privacy

ReMind is safe for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any data, there are no special privacy concerns for children. The app is rated 4+ and contains no inappropriate content.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices (which would only happen if we added features that somehow required it), we will update this policy and notify users through an app update. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.

Your Rights

Under various privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights regarding your personal data. Since ReMind doesn't collect any personal data, these rights are automatically fulfilled:

Right to Access: All your data is already accessible to you within the app
Right to Deletion: Simply delete reminders or uninstall the app
Right to Portability: Your data never leaves your device
Right to Object: No data collection means nothing to object to
